Im a professional dog groomer and i am used to the k92 force dryer seeing that i wanted another one for the mobile unit but didnt want to spend $450 on another k9 i decided to check the cheeper options. Ive used many of the cute pink and blue off brands under $100 ive used the flying pig models and i must say this is much better in every aspect! When i was searching force dryers i came across one for car detailing so i searched car detailing force dryers and found this one.Pros:-extra long hose-wheels-stronger force-has a hand gripper for when hose gets hot(it actually works)-less likely to blow the breaker(k92 blows breakers left and right durring mobile)Cons:- could never add up to the k9 2 but hell this is a 4th of the price so you cant beat it!-cord isnt as long as my k92 or my co-workers off brand similar force dryer(nothing an extension cord cant fix)Conclusion: extremly happy, cost efficient, and everyones jealous of my new wheels ;)Good power to blow the car dry... works better, of course, on vehicle that has been waxed or sealed where the water beads . Good power and great design. Easy to move around, not very noisy at all, small and seems well-made. I will update this review if I have problems down the road. The blowing power is adjustable and the air can be heated or not. Drying one car, the unit did not heat up. The hearing part gets way hotter than expected and really like I’m that.Quality seems very solid.Only thing I would like to see added is a way to store the extra nossle while not in use. Otherwise I could be happier and felt I really got my money’s worth.Attachments can not lock in..luckily I was testing it on my personal vehicle rather than a customers. Attachment popped right off when moving it around to dry my vehicle, put it back on and it continues to happen. I had high hopes for this but it turned out to be a headache.Update: Got to use it a few times and it works great. Plenty of airflow on high for darn near anything and it actually gets really warm after a while. Not to the point you could burn yourself, but it’s nice that they include the neoprene handle to hang onto. It’s a little loud using inside my garage, but nothing unbearable. One other thing to note, I thought this would be quicker than towel drying... but it’s not. I find myself going around every nook and cranny to blow out the water so it probably takes longer, but it doesn’t scratch and it dries more thoroughly so it’s a trade off. I’m very happy with it.———————First off, I’m pretty sure this air dryer is the same basic unit as the Adam’s Air Cannon Jr with some minor differences. This one has an option for heat or no heat, and Adam’s has locking casters with skate wheels... that’s about it. The overall design, filter setup, self-expanding hose, rubber tipped attachments, and basic button layout are seemingly identical. I had trouble deciding between the two, and eventually purchased this one due to the published specs (5.0HP, 74db, 290CFM - exaggerated, as I’ll explain later) vs Adams (2.1 HP, 88dB, 100 CFM). It should do a fine job of drying my SUV... however, the SGCB specs are misrepresented. The “American Specifications” in the manual are HALF what is advertised: 1400w MAX, 180CFM (not 2800w, 290CFM) but still higher than the Adam’s advertised specs. Don’t get me wrong, this seems like a nice dryer that’s built decently well and it certainly does move a lot of air and warm it sufficiently. Whether or not there’s actually a difference in airflow between this and Adam’s, who knows? It could be the exact same motor inside for all I know. The motor itself is pretty quiet for what it is. On high, it’s similar in noise level to my Kobalt 80v leaf blower and Dyson Motorhead cordless vac which is about what I expected. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and I can’t wait to actually try it out on my vehicle in the next few days, once I get a break from the rain. Looks promising so far!The unit works fine but realize it is easier to blow water off of a beading car. It has two heat settings - one is using the motors own generated heat and the other adding a heating element. The hoses and adapters look very well made as is the unit itself.I think it’s a little overrated and over priced. Yeah it gets the water out of the little places but that’s it. You still need to towel dry. It’s been in the low 70s here in CA. So the water beads aren’t drying as quickly. But imagine when it’s super hot, you’d have water spots before you even get to the area to blow off the water. Almost defeats the purpose of having it there. Just an extra car tool you can do without to be honest.Just get a dang leaf blower, save your money. I think the person saying they use it for dog grooming faired better. I might give this away to a friend. Used it once and meh. Getting the water off a car is time sensitive. God forbid you drop the hose on the dry ground and blow whatever is on the ground all over the place and the car.
