The 49-075C-2 is an air separator from Taco's 4900 Series. It provides efficient automatic venting with a minimal pressure loss. The 4900 Series is known for its innovative design. Taco has repurposed stainless steel Pall rings, typically used in chemical separation, for unparalleled air removal. When water flows through the Pall rings, air bubbles are stripped out of it. These bubbles coalesce and are expelled. To maintain efficient venting processes, the 4900 Series features a conical venting chamber. The shape of this chamber creates pressure that prevents sediment from rising and clogging the vent opening.
