Update 3:I bought another one of these to replace the junk Continental brand (China) blower. This time this genuine GM blower runs nice and smooth. It is powerful like the original. Raising back to 5 stars.Update 2:The Continental blower motor is failing already, so I will try the OEM one again. It's impossible to find a perfect blower motor it seems.Update:I bought 3 different replacement blowers for my GMC Yukon to compare them. The best one is the Continental brand because it has the best balance on the wheel, least amount of wobble and noise, and fully sealed motor housing to protect it from moisture. I did not like the TYC brand because that one makes a rattling sound at low rpm. I did not like this genuine GM either because this one, surprisingly, has the most wobble and is terribly out of balance. Also the motor housing on this genuine GM blower is exposed so it rusts over time from the condensation in the HVAC air stream.Original review:This replacement genuine GM blower I bought in 2014 is making a terrible rattling noise again. I removed it, and it turns out there was some tree pollen looking debris caught inside the fan blade cage. I also noticed that the motor housing appeared a bit rusty.I purchased a replacement from a different brand that has a plastic housing on top of the motor that should better protect the motor unit from moist air and rust.
