Delphi's Mass Air Flow sensors provide the engine control module (ECM) with continuous information regarding how much and how fast air is entering the engine. This ensures optimal engine performance, increases fuel economy and reduces emissions. What's more is that Delphi is the only manufacturer that offers a mass air flow sensors with dual heated elements, which allow any platform to incorporate mass air flow sensors into its air/fuel system, regardless of ducting assembly. Mass air flow sensors feature fast response, typically less than 15 milliseconds to 90 percent of flow change, for outstanding performance over a wide range of ambient temperatures. Delphi's mass air flow sensors also use multiple sensing elements to eliminate sensitivity to changes in supply voltage and noise on power ground lines, and feature cold sealing available to -50 degree Celsius.
Delphi mass air flow sensors are the global benchmark for accuracy and signal noise
Delphi mass air flow sensors feature high quality sensing elements for outstanding performance over a wide range of ambient temperatures
Delphi is a manufacturer of OE mass air flow sensors since their first use over 30 years ago; All parts are calibrated and tested to match the OE part
Probe solution offered wherever possible to reduce repair time by eliminating the need to replace the flow tube

I bought this MAF sensor in a last-ditch effort to address a stubborn CEL on my 08 VW GTI.My VW was returning the "engine running rich" error code accompanied by a "MAF sensor circuit failure" code. Everything online seemed to point at the MAF sensor wiring, and since I had recently bought a new sensor from a local auto parts store, I really didn't think that this would solve my issue. It turned out that the year model for my car has three completely different engine codes, and since the employee was likely only looking up parts for an "08 VW GTI", he likely sold me a sensor that was incompatible with my engine, and thus, did not work properly.I replaced it with this one, since it was advertised as being compatible with the "BPY" VW engine, and to my complete disbelief, the CEL vanished and my car had it's horsepower restored.I've been driving with this for about a year, and have had absolutely no problems with this MAF sensor.
